In this final post, we make our way home! Leaving Melbourne - topped up our gas bottle and rotated our tires, ready for the long stint home! Beginning the Great Ocean Road. Quick picnic. First of many epic stops...The Apostles Loch Ard Gorge The Grotto After a night in a small town we entered the Grampians. A few hikes and waterfalls here, before heading towards the VIC/SA border. First meal in SA. It was worth documenting, as this ended up being proof for WA that we had spent 2 weeks in SA (allowing us to avoid quarantining on re-entry). Made it to Adelaide. Yes... we did the river cruise. Fine dining at The Barossa Valley (Seppeltsfield) was tasty! Vineyards for days. Chinaman Creek campground. Peaceful here except for the chatty caretaker who came and repeated his 30min story the next morning too. Next morning heading to Port Augusta - few close calls leaving camp! 44 degrees C today - (the second hottest place in the world that day) impossible to do much other than drive. Even had ...
